Embrace Abilities, founded by Bridgett Lee, was born from her personal journey as a mother to her daughter, Emma Kate, who has special needs. After witnessing Emma struggle with feeling left out and facing daily challenges, Bridgett was inspired to create a space where neurodiverse children could feel included, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Her experience highlighted the need for a supportive network where families can connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. Embrace Abilities was built to foster meaningful connections and create opportunities for children and families to engage in inclusive, welcoming environments.
What began as a Facebook group to connect families quickly grew into something greater. In April 2024, Embrace Abilities became a nonprofit organization, reflecting Bridgett’s commitment to building a community of belonging across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
At Embrace Abilities, no parent feels alone, and every child’s unique potential is celebrated.
