A Community Where Every Ability Shines
Inclusive support and connection for children, young adults, and families with different abilities.

Inclusive support and connection for children, young adults, and families with different abilities.
Embrace Abilities builds a welcoming community where families of all abilities can connect, learn, and grow together—through free, family-centered programs and community partnerships, ultimately removing barriers so every person can belong.
We provide inclusive programs and services for families of children and young adults with different abilities—offering social events, parent-led meetups, sibling workshops, caregiver education, and launching a dedicated grief support group in 2026 to meet families where they are and foster lasting connections.
Since April 2024, Embrace Abilities has brought together 192 families, delivered 34 inclusive events, hosted 3 Coffee with Caregivers gatherings, launched Sibshops with 2 sessions, and participated in 14 outreach events—building a stronger, more connected community for children of all abilities and those who love them across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Together, we’re creating spaces where every family feels seen, supported, and empowered.
Embrace Abilities is a parent-led nonprofit on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, dedicated to building a welcoming, inclusive community for children and young adults with different abilities—and the families who love them. Inspired by our own journey, we create spaces where every family feels seen, valued, and supported.

Through our programs, partnerships, and community outreach, Embrace Abilities fostered connection, inclusion, and empowerment for families of children with different abilities across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Families served across 6 counties—helping build lasting connections, support networks, and a sense of belonging for differently abled children, their siblings, and caregivers. Our outreach ensures families don’t feel alone and can access a welcoming, understanding community.

Inclusive gatherings and support sessions provided safe spaces for children and families to build friendships, share experiences, and feel welcome in their community. These events fostered social skills, reduced isolation, and empowered parents with peer support and resources.

We participated in 5 community outreach events, expanding awareness of our mission and reaching new families across the Gulf Coast. These events helped us build partnerships with local organizations, connect underserved communities to resources, and promote inclusion, advocacy, and disability awareness throughout the region.

Through the generosity of donors and sponsors, we raised $11,504 in our first year. These funds allowed us to offer free, inclusive programs, provide educational and sensory materials to families, and develop new resources like printable guides and advocacy tools—ensuring every family can access meaningful support, both in-person and online.
